James R. Griffin

James R. Griffin, 60, of Jonesboro, died Monday March 17, 2008 at St. Bernard Medical Center.

He was born and raised in Jonesboro and was a member of Big Creek Valley Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents Tommy Griffin and Amie Daniel Griffin, two brothers; William and Troy Griffin and one sister; Marie Gregg.

Survived by his loving wife; Susan Griffin of the home.

One daughter; Tammy M. Cambron and her husband Dale of Jonesboro.

Two brothers; Clifton and Ray Griffin both of Jonesboro.

Two sisters; Joyce McCarty of Jonesboro. and Corene Wheeley of Allen, Texas.

Three grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday March 21, 2008 at Gibson Cemetery with Rev. Gary Gipson officiating.

Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M. Thursday March 20, 2008 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers will be Tommy Wheeley, Jake Wheeley, Buddy Wheeley, Bobby Wheeley Chris Barnhill and Dennis Bruce.

Honorary pallbearers will be Arnold Miller, Mike Crump, Gary Gray and Joe Dever.
