James Darryl Porter

James Darryl Porter, 79 of Jonesboro passed from this life Friday, December 20 at NEA Baptist Hospital.  He was born August 10, 1940 to Charles and Edna Massey Porter in Lepanto. Darryl was an agri-salesman for the Rhone-Poulenc Ag Company.  He was a veteran of the US Navy and of the Christian belief.  Darryl enjoyed duck hunting and fishing, traveling, playing poker and especially spending time with his family.  He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Donnie Porter.

Survivors include son, David (Patti) Porter of Belleview, FL; daughter, Dana Porter of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Patrick (Amy) Hogue, Taylor Hogue, Amie Porter, Justin (Samantha) Ellison, Hope (Cody) Kierre, April (Trey) Watson, Megan Smith and 5 great grandchildren.

On Friday, December 27, 2019 at 6:30 PM there will be a Celebration of Life for Darryl that will be held at the Elks Lodge, 2113 W Washington Ave, Jonesboro, AR.

Burial will be private.
