James Patrick "Pat" Brown

January 22, 1915 — March 10, 2007

James Patrick “Pat” Brown, 92, of Cash, died Saturday morning at St. Bernards Medical Center.

Born near Manila, Pat lived most of his life in Craighead County. He was a farmer and a member of the Church of Christ. He was a U.S. Army veteran of W.W. II and a member of the American Legion.

Pat was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Survivors include:

His Wife: Vera A. Brown of the home;

2 Sons and their wives: Jerry and Angie Brown of Walnut Ridge, and
Cary and Teresa Brown of Cash;

1 daughter and her husband: Patsy and Dan Oswald of Jonesboro;

10 Grandchildren: Cynthia Kelley, Stacey Brown, Catherine Brown, Shawn Newman,
Stephanie Spath, Jamie Brown, Shana Brown, Aaron Ruth,
Shawn Oswald, and Joyce Kelly; and

12 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Kenneth Camp officiating. Burial will follow in Unity Cemetery.

Active pallbearers include: Junior Pierce, Michael Brown, Jim Brown, John Brown,
Phillip Brown and Curtis Spath.

Honorary pallbearers include his grandchildren, Keith Boyd, Lynn Dorton,
Jerome Boyd and Jerry Waddill.

Visitation will be held Monday evening, 5-8, at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
