James O. "Jamie" Reid Jr.

James O. “Jamie” Reid Jr., 46, a life-long resident of Cash, died Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Jacksonville, Arkansas. He was of the Baptist belief. He loved to hunt and fish and was a member of the Flatwood Hunting Club. Jamie was preceded in death by his father, James O. Reid, Sr.

Survivors include his mother, Erma Safirt (Calvin) of Pitts, sisters, Kathryn Dunman (Ronald) of Cash; Donna Motes (Wesley) of Trumann; Lorrie Reid of Hoxie; Pattie Ditto (Shane) of Walnut Ridge and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Monday, September 19, 2016 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Conway Safirt officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at the Dowell Chapel Cemetery near Swifton with Terry Ellis, Calvin Safirt Jr., Anthony Scott, Robert Webster, David Alexander and Belo Ellis. Visitation will be from 9:30 Monday morning until service time.
