James C. “Doc” McDole, 93, of Bay passed from this life Wednesday November 11, 2020 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born July 5, 1927 in Cherry Valley to the late Cary and Dollie McDole.
James is a lifelong resident of Northeast Arkansas and was known as a hard worker. He enjoyed playing cards, dancing, whistling and listening to music.
In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his wife Verda McDole; daughters, Sandy Truax and Susie McDole; sons, James McDole and Boyce McDole as well as four sisters and two brothers.
He is survived by his sons, Ronald McDole and Jamie Kaye "Doc" McDole; daughters, Roxeen Gove, Deborah Rasdon, Cookie (Robin) Haidle, Loretta "Mouse" Wheeler and Cheryl McDole; grandchildren, Ashly Addison, Tami (Darrell) Sanders, Krystle (Noel) Kearns, Jamie Kaye McDole Jr., Katherine Louise McDole, Lori (Steve) Battenberg, Brandy Blanchard, Heather Moss and Mike (Sara) Truax; son in law, Donald Truax and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
