James A. Malone Jr.

James A. Malone Jr., 80, of Jonesboro passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2015 at St. Bernards Medical Center.
James was born on June 9, 1935 in Jonesboro to the late James A. Sr. and Opha Dell Lettner Malone. He lived all his life in Jonesboro, and was of the Baptist Belief. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Malone; a sister, Martha Lawson; and his first wife and mother to his children, Emma Marie Malone.
He is survived by one son, Brian Malone and his wife Michelle; a sister, Carolyn Simino; two grandchildren, Ashley Nolen and Daniel Malone all of Jonesboro.

A Memorial Service will be at Brookland Church of Christ at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 28, 2015. Burial will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
