James R Lowell

James (Jim) Robert Lowell left this world Thursday, May 27, 2021.  He was born June 8, 1963 in York, Pennsylvania.  He is survived by his sister, Brenda and her husband Thomas Bortner of Clermont, Georgia.  Jim was “adopted” by Rayburn and Judy Layne.  After Judy’s passing, Jim was instrumental in raising the twins, Sarah and Eric.  It is hard to mention all of Jim’s talents.  He was creative in Home Decor and had a green thumb with any plant or flower.  He loved his dogs Gizmo and Benji. He was a member of the Community Fellowship Church.

A visitation will be Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Emerson Funeral Home from 5-6 pm.  From 6-7 pm stories will be shared by family and friends.
