James Johnson

James Johnson, 90, of Jonesboro, died Monday, September 13, 2010, at his home. He was born in Shelby, Mississippi, on January 20, 1920. He was a farm laborer.

James was married to Annie Maude over 70 years until her death in 2007. He was also preceded in death by his parents, step son, brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish his memories include daughters-in-law: Elaine McGee of Flint, Michigan and Honey McGee of Chicago, sister-in-law, Lee Anna Hill of Jonesboro; nieces and nephews Alice and Freddy Farmer, Pamela and Walter Lewis, Sharann Hill, Randy Sullivan, Robert Woods, and Jerome Jones, all of Jonesboro, Dr. Rev. Herman and Martha Crockett of Virginia, Bobbie Jones, Fred, Willie and Joe Jones of Marked Tree. Also, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial services will be private. The remains will be deposited at Grace Lawn Cemetery in Flint, Michigan.
