James "Jim" Russell Bourassa Jr.

Jim Bourassa, 67, of Jonesboro formerly of Lakeland, Florida passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020 at his home. He was born June 3, 1953 in Flint, Michigan to the late James and Ester Bourassa. Jim was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church. He worked for Commercial Carriers for 25 years and after retirement Jim went to work for Walnut Street Baptist Church. He enjoyed movies, playing darts, bowling, swimming, being a trickster and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew Bourassa.

Survivors include his 3 sons, James (Nicole) Bourassa 3 ^rd , Joshua (Jayme) Bourassa, Jeremy Bourassa; 3 daughters, Susan Bourassa, Patricia (William) Davidson, Amanda Bourassa; 3 brothers, Danny, Mark and Joe Bourassa; 3 sisters, Debbie Banyas, Karen Clark Bourassa, Susan McNaguhton; 14 grandchildren: Desiray Watkins, Tiffaney Neal, Spencer Neal, James Bourassa IV, Brayden Bourassa, Skylar Bourassa, Aliyah Rivera, Kayla Rivera, Mariah Rivera, Jaime Rivera, Luna Rivera, Arline Avila, Alexus Avila, Jaiden Bourassa and 5 great grandchildren: Kaity Watkins, Bella Watkins, Maryanne Watkins, Sophie Howard and Emma Howard.

Memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at 6:30 pm at 562A CR 474, Jonesboro, AR 72404 with Bro. Jerry Parker officiating.
