James Dwayne Dunlap, 49 of Evening Shade, passed away on September 15, 2018, at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock.
Born in Bakersfield, California, James moved to the Evening Shade area in 1994. He was an equipment operator for Edwin Brothers Rock Quarry until he became disabled. James was of the Church of Christ faith and enjoyed fishing, hunting and raising chickens. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Sue Anderson Dunlap.
Survivors include his father, Buddy Gerald Dunlap of Evening Shade;
1 brother and sister-in-law: Danny and Heather Dunlap of Evening Shade;
1 uncle and his wife, Randy and Nancy Anderson of Evening Shade;
2 aunts and their husbands, Brenda and Don Hill, and Carol and Lanney O'Neal, all of Porterville, California; and
1 nephew, Anthony Millsap of Horseshoe Bend.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in Herman Cemetery with Daniel Dooley officiating with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Anthony Millsap, Mike Consley and Chris Stone.
