James "Ralph" Bell

James “Ralph” Bell, 78, of Bono passed from this life on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born on June 4, 1945 in Jonesboro to the late Ralph and Lucille Bell. Ralph loved his horses, coon hunting, going to the auto auction, and having coffee with his friends. In addition to his parents, Ralph is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Bell; and son, Ralphie Bell.

Ralph is survived by his daughters, Cindy Roach (Ken) of Hoxie and Tammy Moore (Kenny) of Bono; sons, Randall Carter (Gail) of Van Buren and Kenny Carter (Joyce) of Jonesboro; sister, Ina Ishmael of Texas; grandchildren, Erica Ramsey (Zack), James “Ryan” Hayse, Kendall Hayse, Ashley Bryan (Nick), Derrick Moore, Breanna Moore, Adrianna Carter, Kyle Carter (Brittney), Sarah Carter, Amanda Carter, and Brandon Carter. He also leaves behind several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and his beloved dog, Rosie, who he loved to play with.

The visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Emerson Funeral Home with Ferrell Duffle officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery.
