Jacquelyn Craft Sauser

Jacquelyn Craft Sauser, 91, of Jonesboro passed from this life Monday, April 4, 2022 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was born September 28, 1930 in Bono to the late Jack Craft and Vetrel Craft.

Jacquelyn has lived in the Bono area most of her life and was a devoted member of the Bono Church of Christ where she taught classes for the ladies of the church and the children. She was also very devoted to her family. Jacquelyn was an avid bowler, having bowled for 50 years. She also enjoyed going to Lake Norfork, traveling (especially with Jonesboro Travel), and watching the St. Louis Cardinals.

In addition to her parents, Jacquelyn is preceded in death by brothers, Jerry Craft and Kenny Royce Craft as well as a grandson, Benjamin Wilson.

She is survived by her husband Walter R. Sauser of the home. They would have been married 72 years on May 4 th ; son, Tony (Judy) Sauser of Bono; daughter, Jennifer (Lester) Wilson of Jonesboro; sisters, Evalyn Tolbert of Jonesboro and Susie (Joe) Turney of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Courtney (Brian) French, Dr. Cody (Sarah) Sauser, Samantha Wilson, and Drs. Rachel Sauser (Andrew) Duck as well as great-grandchildren, Wilson French, Jack French, Lacey French, Charlee Wilson, Jacob Sauser, Levi Sauser and Katie Belle Sauser.

A visitation will be held Wednesday April 6, 2022 from 5-7 pm at Emerson Funeral Home.

A family graveside service will be held on Thursday April 7, 2022 at Trinity Cemetery with Richard Akins officiating. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Dr. Cody Sauser, Jacob Sauser, Levi Sauser, Brian French, Wil French, and Jack French.
