Jacqueline Zipfel

Jacqueline Louise Zipfel, 88, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. She was born to Clarence and Lucille Buford on October 2, 1927 in Maplewood, Missouri. Jacqueline was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and the St. Bernards Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lucille Buford; and sisters, Maxine Whintery, Georgia Dunlap, and Linda Helton.

Jacqueline is survived by her husband, Charles Zipfel of the home; son, Terry Zipfel (Sue) of Jonesboro; daughter, Carolyn Hefti (Michael) of Midwest City, Oklahoma; grandchildren, BJ Zipfel, Timothy Hefti, Carrie Mason, Matthew Zipfel, and Mark Hefti; great grandchildren, Zoe Zipfel, Carter Zipfel, Bennett Zipfel, Parker Hefti, Gavin Mason, Brayden Hefti, Eva Hefti, and Sylis Stone.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Saturday with Father Alphonse Gollapalli officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

The visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Friday at Emerson Funeral Home and a Rosary will follow at 7:00 pm.
