Jacob Junior Roach

Jacob Junior Roach, 91, of Jonesboro, passed from this life Friday, January 22, 2021 at his home. He was born October 26, 1929, in Hornersville, MO, to the late Jacob Marion and Carrie Lee Roach. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Susie Roach; daughters, Kevin Gail Roach and Danna Belle Roach Haynes; three sisters and four brothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Jacob spent 40+ years living in Jonesboro after moving there from Lepanto.  He loved working outside, especially on his tractor. A member of Walnut St Baptist Church, he was a devout Christian. He studied his bible daily, and always enjoyed witnessing to others. Most importantly, Jacob loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren.

Jacob is survived by his wife, Bobby Roach, of the home; sons, Jake Roach, Will Roach, and son-in-law Keith Haynes, all of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Jeremy Bradsher, Matthew Bradsher, and Katie Cazares; and great-grandchildren, Luciano Jacob, Sophia, and Mattison.

A visitation will be held from 9-10 am Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Emerson Funeral Home with a service following directly at 10 am. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.

A face covering is required at the visitation and service.
