Jacob Lee, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026, in Jonesboro at the age of 17. He was born on January 16, 2009.
Jacob was of the Christian faith and was a young man whose kind heart, unique personality, and unwavering determination left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Though his time on earth was far too short, he filled his life with the things he loved and the people who meant the most to him.
Jacob had a passion for building and modifying LEGO sets, spending countless hours creating imaginative designs and bringing his ideas to life. He was an avid gamer, with Minecraft holding a special place among his favorite games. He also enjoyed collecting classic rock CDs, proudly calling Megadeth his favorite band, while also appreciating the timeless storytelling of Marty Robbins' music.
Even at a young age, Jacob was hardworking and focused on his future. He became a certified forklift operator and earned his welding certification while still in high school. He looked forward to pursuing a career in welding after graduation, excited to build a life doing work he genuinely enjoyed.
Jacob was preceded in death by his beloved maternal grandmother, Beverley Stocksdale, and his paternal grandfather, Ralph Lee.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving parents, Michael and Stacey Lee; his sisters, Caitlyn Lee and Allison Quayle; his "Jacob brother," Nathan Smith, whose bond with Jacob was one of unwavering friendship and love; along with many extended family members, friends, classmates, and all whose lives were touched by his kind spirit.
Jacob's family will forever remember his smile, his sense of humor, his dedication to those he loved, and the joy he found in the simple things that made life special. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
