Jacky Ray (Jack) Mcgee

January 18, 1943 — February 24, 2017

Jacky Ray (Jack) McGee, 74, went to be with his Lord, surrounded by his loving family, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was the loving husband of Bobbie Douglas McGee. They were blessed with fifty-two years of marriage. Jack was born January 18, 1943 in Holland, Missouri. He left this life on February 24, 2017 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Jack served his Lord at Friendship Assembly of God where he was a member. He retired as the Maintenance Director of Baptist Memorial-Blytheville. Jack loved his Lord, his family, his work, playing on the American Legion Baseball Team, and his St. Louis Cardinals.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Beatrice McGee. His five brothers Claud, Virgil, Bill, David and Harold, and two sisters Margaret Willoughby and Sue McGee. As well as his father-in law and mother-in-law, Leo and Lucille Douglas.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bobbie Douglas McGee. Son, Roger and wife Paula. Three grandchildren, Colley Edward and wife Ruthy, Morgan Bea, Jerrod Ray and the love of his life his great-granddaughter, Kinzley Faye McGee.

Two brothers, Jim and wife Annette and Tommy; sisters, Bonnie Rice, June Strong and husband Paul, sister-in-law Eva Patrick and husband Joe.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother James Moore officiating. Burial will be at 4:30 p.m. on Monday at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Missouri with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 26, 2017 in Emerson Memorial Chapel.

Active pallbearers will be Ken Guess, Ron Allison, Raymond Lowery, James Lisk, Doug Strong, Paul Strong Jr. and Boyce Brownderville.
Honorary pallbearer will be T.L.May.
