Jackie Dewayne West, 60, of Jonesboro, passed away on February 5, 2026, at his home. He was born in Jonesboro on March 23, 1965, to the late Walter and Mary Lou West. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie West; niece, Breonna Quero; and nephew, Zachary Brown.

Jackie was born and raised in Northeast Arkansas. He enjoyed fishing, visiting flea markets, and attending auctions. Jackie was also a foodie, loving to try new and different foods. On days when he was stuck inside, Jackie would spend his time watching westerns on TV. He was also an avid animal lover who owned many pets, including Scrappy and Wizard, two of his most beloved dogs. Most importantly, Jackie loved being with his children and grandchildren, especially his grandkids, who kept his heart full of love.

Jackie is survived by his wife of 40 years, Rebecca West; sons Brian West (Letisha) of Leachville and Matthew Purdom (Daisy) of Harrison; daughters Jessica Rosales (Carlos) and Ashley Crous (Johannes), both of Jonesboro; sister Beverly Quero of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Emily, Cristian, Carlos, Jaslyn, Madalyn, Alayna, Hayden, and Graysen; and great-granddaughter, Nayeli.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on February 10, 2026, at Emerson Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
