Jackie Raye Colter

Jackie Raye Colter, 70, of rural Jonesboro, died at home surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Born in Jackson, Tennessee, Jackie lived most of her life in Trumann before moving to Jonesboro. She worked 28 years for Holiday Inn of Jonesboro and retired as domestics supervisor. Jackie was a member of Grace Point Church of God of Prophecy in Trumann and was an avid dog lover especially her Princess.  Her favorite pastime was Facebook and Farmville and she loved her family and life to the fullest.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents Raymond Harold and Evelyn Lois Brock Hill; husband Edgar Raney; son Joseph Norman "Buddy" Bowen; sister Scottie Faye Kelley and nephew Johnny Kelley.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Cynthia and James Raney of Jonesboro;

1 son: Brad Floyd of Jonesboro;

1 brother and sister-in-law: Jr. and Karen Hill of Trumann;

3 sisters and brother-in-law: Nancy Carol Franks of Hernando, Mississippi, Glenda Dale Fletcher of Jonesboro, and Patty and Buddy Campbell of Trumann;

4 grandchildren: Brandon David Bowen, Derrick Dewayne Bowen, Camile Barker and Andrew Barker; and 3 great grandchildren including Michael David Bowen.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Point Church of God of Prophecy in Trumann with Rev. Larry Tribble officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery north of Harrisburg with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers include Wesley Hill, Brock Hill, Rocky Kelley, Roger Looney, Allen Biggers and Josh Owens.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Point Church of God of Prophecy in Trumann, 828 Christy Street Extended, Trumann.
