Jack Robinett, 93, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Thursday, March 29, 2018, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.
Jack was born in Oregon County, Missouri, and lived there until moving to the Trumann area. In 1961 Jack moved his family to Jonesboro where he lived most of his life. Jack worked several years at Crane Manufacturing Company in Jonesboro and was a member of Nettleton Baptist Church.
Jack enjoyed quail hunting and gardening. He especially enjoyed training bird dogs, particularly Setters, and had a passion for watching them work while hunting.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Ashlock Robinett; his parents: Redmon Boyd Robinett and Louella Melton Robinett; 3 brothers: Richard, Charles and James Robinett; and 5 sisters: Nova Crappo, Maxine Slatton, Analou Ray, Thelma Carlton and Clovie Gates.
Survivors include 2 sons and daughters-in-law: Jackie Eugene and Barbara Robinett of Tumbling Shoals and Eddie Dean and Sue Robinett of Jonesboro;
3 grandchildren and their spouses: Jarrett Robinett, Natalie and Brian Graue and Josh and Jessica Robinett; and
4 great grandchildren: Leslie Graue, Landon Graue, Ava Robinett and Caleb White.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Dr. Stan Ballard officiating. Burial will follow in Nettleton Cemetery. Visitation from 10-11 will precede the service.
Active pallbearers include Jarrett Robinett, Josh Robinett, Richard White, David Smith, Brian Graue and Jerry Ray Smith. Honorary pallbearers include Jake Gilley, Royce Leonard, Jim Carter, Albert Soo, Kenneth Burk and Rev. Harold Ray.
