Jack Ragland Sr.

Jack Ragland Sr., 52 of Jonesboro died Sunday, May 9, 2010 at his home. He had lived in Jonesboro for the past five years, moving here from Marked Tree, Arkansas. He attended the Word of Life Church of God Church in Trumann and was an avid motorcycle rider and bowler. Jack was preceded in death by his step-dad, Don Ragland, and grandparents, Eddie Stracener, Abe Cunnard, and Selma Gordon.

Survivors include sons, Jack Ragland Jr.; Aaron Ragland, both of Jonesboro; daughter, Ashley Ragland, Marked Tree; father Jack Cunnard, Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania; mother and stepdad, Sharon and Don Simpson; brothers, Donald Ragland, Los Alamitos, California; Steve Ragland, Denver, Colorado; sister Kathy Cheney, Riverside, California; grandmother, Mavis Stracener; fiancé, Lisa Newberry, of the home; former wife, Mary Ragland, Jonesboro; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the Word of Life Church of God in Trumann with Rick Kimery officiating and Emerson Funeral in charge of arrangements. Burial will be private.
