Irma Geneva Reagan Cole, of Trumann, Arkansas passed from this life and went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at approximately 9:50 p.m., at the age of 91 years, 9 months, and 21 days. She was born on February 11, 1924 to Hobart Reagan and Mary Ellen Brannon in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
She was a 1942 graduate of Bay High School, a certified reflexologist, a respiratory therapist, and a lifelong member of Viva Drive Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Cole, and her daughter, Nancy Cole Isaacs.
She is survived by her children, Dennis (Helen) Cole, of Wasilla, Alaska, Sharon Cole, of Georgetown, Texas, Philip (Susan) Cole, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Don (Penny) Cole, of Hergett, Arkansas, and Larra Walker, of Trumann, Arkansas. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twenty-five+ great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
Irma worked alongside Harry in their restaurant, the “Varsity Restaurant” baking pies and rolls and serving others from 1963-1977. They also owned and operated Cole’s Grocery Store for many years. She loved people and enjoyed cooking for others as well as doing anything she could to bring a smile to someone’s face. Her loving and caring nature was ever present in everything she did.
