Irma Arremetta Johnson

Irma Arremetta Johnson, 80, of Jonesboro departed this life on October 20, 2024. She was born on April 26, 1944 in Merced California to the late Dee and Savannah Ryals.

Irma lived a full life marked by hard work and the love of her family. Irma was an avid Elvis fan. Before moving to Jonesboro with her late huband in 2010, Irma worked as a security guard for Securitas, a security guard company in California. Irma was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in San Pablo, California & Jonesboro. Irma attended Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro.

Irma is preceded in death by her late husband, John Johnson of Jonesboro and her late sister, Carol Neil of Martinez, California.

She is survived by her son, Bobby Wright and his wife Holly Wright of Cordova, Tennessee; daughter, Becky Berry of Vallejo, California; son, Jon Johnson of Crockett, California; one grandson, Michael Nalevanko of Redwood City, California; two granddaughters, Sasha Huckaby of Vallejo, California and Heather Nalevanko of Oakley, California.

A private interment will be held at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery where Irma will be placed next to her late husband, John.
