Irene Mary Mcdonald

Irene Mary McDonald, 91, of Jonesboro, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, Mrs. McDonald has lived over 25 years in Jonesboro where she was the long-time manager of Citadel Record Storage. She was a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church where she was active with the United Methodist Women group. Mrs. McDonald was a member of Hope Circle at NEA Baptist Charitable Foundation and volunteered at the Fowler Family Center for Cancer Care. She also enjoyed working in her yard, flower garden and vegetable garden, and was preceded in death by her husband, Colin, grandson Kyle and several siblings.

Survivors include one son and dauaghter-in-law: Robert (Bob) and Eileen Scheuerman of Princeton, NJ;
one daughter, Karen Lagno of Florida;
two grandchildren: Caitlyn Scheuerman and Ian Scheuerman; and
several siblings.

Memorial services will be private. There will be no visitation.
