Irene Bush

Irene Isaacs Bush, 97, of Jonesboro passed away on April 26, 2016 after a long battle with her declining health.

Irene was born on February 9, 1919 in Bay to the late William and Ada Stiles Isaacs. She attended Browns School first through sixth grade, and then later going on to graduating from Bay High School. She worked for the Department of Energy in Oak Ridge, TN until her retirement. She was a member of Nettleton Baptist Church, and she loved to play Bridge and Golf.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Bush.

She is survived by nieces, Merilyn Barnhill Wright and Paulette K. Barnhill; and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside services were private at Oaklawn Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
