Iola Wilkinson Reid

Iola W. Reid, age 97, of Jonesboro, died Saturday, October 1, 2005, at SkilCare Nursing Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Williford, Arkansas, Mrs. Reid lived most of her life in Jonesboro. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro and an avid bridge player. While her daughter was in school, she was an active member of the PTA and the Junior and Senior High School Band Boosters. She was preceded in death by her husband: Travis Reid, and by a daughter: Susie Reid Martin.

Survivors include: Her Son-in-law: Martin Farmer of Jonesboro;

2 Grandchildren: Carol Lofton and Reid Farmer; and

4 Great Grandchildren: Johnny Lofton, Brooke Lofton, Lauren Farmer, and Travis Reid Farmer.

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday morning, October 7, 2005, at 10:30 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Emil Williams officiating, with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5-7 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
