Ina Faye Huber, 76, of Jonesboro passed from this life Saturday, July 2, 2016 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born November 10, 1939 in Weiner to the late M.C. Crawford and Ruby E. Crawford. Faye lived in Jonesboro for the past several years. She moved to Jonesboro in 1979 coming from Caraway. Before that, she lived with her family in St. Louis. Faye worked in Jonesboro for over 20 years. She served in the United States Air Force. Faye also owned her own business for 10 years. Simple Simons Tax Accounting and Computer Services. She was also a licensed Cosmetologist and owned a hair salon in Jonesboro in 1982. Her last job before retiring was at St. Bernards Senior Life Center.
Faye and her husband owned a grocery store in Caraway, Huber’s Grocery. Before moving to Caraway from St. Louis, Mr. and Mrs. Huber were in the construction business, building duplexes and subdivisions. Faye taught Business College in St. Louis and was also a court reporter. She had a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Management.
In addition to her parents Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Huber.
Survivors include her daughter, Candi Wolford of Jonesboro; 2 grandchildren, Katherine and Matthew Wolford both of Jonesboro; 1 sister, Joan Hopkins of Bella vista, Arkansas; 1 brother, Dorse Gene Crawford of Peoria, Illinois and several nieces and nephews.
