Imogene P. Clark, 95, of Germantown, died August 21, 2010 at Quince Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Memphis. Born in Craighead County, she had spent her life in the Jonesboro or Germantown areas. She was a retired seamstress and homemaker and had belonged to Nettleton Baptist Church while in Jonesboro.
She is survived by her children, F. Joe (Margaret) Clark, Germantown, Kenneth Wayne Clark, Lincoln, Nebraska; grandchildren, Lisa (Hugh) Potts, Memphis, Steve (Terry) Clark, Collierville, Kendy Nolder, Junction City, Kansas, Angela (Jeff) Shouse, Collinsville, Oklahoma, Sean (Carmen) Clark, Abilene, Kansas, Jimmy (Melissa) Clark, Merced, California, Timothy Clark, Fresno, California; 13 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Clark; parents, Ira & Alma Hill Powell; son, Jimmy Lloyd Clark; grandchildren, Michael Clark, John Clark, and Wendy Clark.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Harold Ray and Stan Ballard officiating. Burial will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
