Hurley Devon Sharp, 58 of Jonesboro, died Saturday December 2, at his daughter’s residence.
He was born in Jonesboro and had lived in Jonesboro most of his life. He was a retired welding supervisor for Sun Ergoline Industry in Jonesboro, and was a member of Southwest Church of Christ, and was a 1966 graduate of Bay High School.
He was preceded in death by his father Orville Sharp in 2001.
Survivors include his son: Rodney Sharp of Nashville, Tenn.
Four daughters: Angela Anderson and her husband Roger of Jonesboro.

Jessica Sharp of Jonesboro
His Mother: Lorene Rogers Sharp of Jonesboro.
Three Grandchildren: Chiara Randall, Jazlyn Anderson, Isaiah Anderson.
Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday December 4, 2006 at Nettleton Cemetery, with Jimmy Adcox officiating.
Pallbearers will be Amos Spencer, Sam Spencer, T. S. Spencer, Roosevelt Spencer, Carl Wise, Melvin James Park, and Gary James
Visitation will be from 4 – 6:00 P.M. Sunday December 3, at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
