Huey Adell Rushin

Huey Adell Rushin, 83, a life-long resident of Jonesboro, died Monday, November 4, 2019.  He was a member of Windover Baptist Church.  Huey was a US Army Veteran.  Prior to his retirement from Southwestern Bell Corp, having worked there for over 42 years, he spliced the cables in the underground systems from NASA to the Launch Pad.  He loved his family and was a great provider.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Joyce Rushin, of the home; son, Anthony Rushin (Theresa) of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Tammy DeMent (William) of Bentonville.

Funeral services will be 2:00 Wednesday, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brian Beach officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in Charge of arrangements.  Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time.
