Howard Allen Masters

Howard Allen Masters, 76, of Jonesboro, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 15, 2013.

He was born in Mulberry, AR on August 3l, 1936 to Roy Felix and Essie Etta Masters.

A graduate of Arkansas State College in 1958, he moved his family to Memphis and was employed by Rotary Lift/Dover Corporation as their Service Manager. In 1994, he transferred with the company to Madison, IN. In 2001, he retired after 43 years of service and moved home to Jonesboro. He was an avid golfer, excellent griller and active health club member. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.

He leaves behind his wife, Dicy; 2 daughters: Lana & Larry Crain of Collierville, TN and Carmen & Chuck Inman of Bartlett, TN; 4 grandchildren: Carin & Mark Ellis of Forest City, AR, Zachary & Lisa Inman of St. Petersburg, FL, Kymberly & Curt Moyer of St. Petersburg, FL and Eric Crain of Chattanooga, TN; sisters: Harriett Ellis of West Memphis, Laurine Hoard of Boliver, TN and Adah Holcomb of Harrisburg; brother: Lorin Masters of Mesa, AZ. He is preceded in death by his brothers and sisters: Darlo Masters, Gilbert Masters, Elenora Allred, Albert Masters, Juanita Stevens, Byron Masters, Myron Masters, Roy Masters and Mary Ann Masters.

Visitation will be held at 1:00P.M.Saturday April 20, with services at 2:00P on Saturday, April 20 with Rev. Allen Quinn officiating. Burial will be at Wilson Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Should family and friend’s desire, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, Jonesboro.
