Holly Ann Widick

Holly Ann Caton Widick, daughter of the late George Owen and Marianne (Ankrum) Caton, was born December 20, 1965 in Howell County, Missouri. She left this world on August 27, 2026 at the age of 60 years, 8 months and 7 days. Holly grew up in the Hutton Valley area and attended school in Willow Springs, Missouri. Throughout her life, she made her home in several places, including West Plains, Missouri, Killeen, Texas, and Batesville and Melbourne before eventually moving to Jonesboro where she made her home.

Holly worked at several doctors' offices in the insurance departments, at Vision Surgery Center as Billing Supervisor. She most recently worked at JP&O Ottobock Orthotics & Prosthetics as an Insurance Verification Specialist. Holly thoroughly enjoyed traveling and attending concerts. When she was younger, she competed in several talent contests and even traveled to Nashville to compete for a television talent show "Be A Star". She was also a member of a gospel group that performed at Silver Dollar City and would occasionally sing with the group for which her husband, Kevin, played drums.

Holly became a member of The Pomona Christian Church at an early age and spent many Sundays singing there with her sisters. Her faith and love of music were important parts of her life. She attended Community Fellowship. Holly loved crafting, and her creativity could be seen throughout her home and work office. She found great joy in creating beautiful things and sharing her talents with others.

Above all, Holly was a devoted mother. Her proudest moment was the birth of her son, Duncan, who was born several weeks early on October 13, 1997. Her love for Duncan was one of the greatest joys of her life. Holly married the love of her life, Kevin Widick, on September 5, 2025. Together they shared a life filled with love, music, family, and cherished memories.

Holly is survived by her son, Duncan Allgood; her husband, Kevin Widick; step-son, Noah Joseph and wife Shelby; three sisters, Cathy Miles of Kissee Mills, Missouri and her partner Nick, Vicki Wells and husband Ivan Wells of Strafford, Missouri and Nancy Lancaster and husband Tommy of West Plains, Missouri along with several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loved ones. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marianne Caton; her father, Owen Caton and her grandparents.

Holly will be remembered for her loving heart, her beautiful singing voice, her creativity, her love of family, and the many lives she touched along the way. Her memory will live on through her family, friends, and all those who were blessed to know and love her. Rest peacefully, Holly. Your song will never be forgotten.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
