Hilda Worthington

Hilda Worthington, 70, of Trumann, died Tuesday, June 01, 2010 at her home. She was born at Stranger’s Home, Arkansas and moved to Trumann from Swifton in 1959. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and was the owner operator of The Flower Port Florist. Hilda attended the First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Freda Counts; three brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Robert Worthington, of the home; sons, Bobby Worthington and wife Becky of Dallas, Texas; Kenny Worthington and wife Debbie of Cord, Arkansas; Travis Worthington of Jonesboro; brothers, Larry Counts and Jimmy Counts, of Hardy, Arkansas; sisters, Mickey Albertson, Tuckerman, Arkansas, Brenda Nicholson, Swifton, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Bobby Worthington officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery and visitation will be from 5-7 Wednesday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
