H.G. Render

H.G. Render, 92, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. H.G. was born in Lake City on December 10, 1926, to the late Sammie and Myrtle Elder Render. H.G. lived in Jonesboro most of his life and worked in maintenance at Arkansas Glass, was a member of the Rogers Chapel Church and a WWII Army Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Leona Render and his wife, Melendia Bennett Render in 2011. Brothers, Clifford, Charles, Dalton and Wendell Render, and 5 sisters.

Suvived by 2 step sons, Robert Bennett (Nancy) of Longmont, Colorado and Lindel Bennett (Wyvetta) of Jonesboro.
Brother, Kenneth Render of Washington State, Washington.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, 2019, at the Pine Log Cemetery with Rev. Jim Hillyer officiating. Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at Emerson Funeral Home.
