Hester Spradling

Hester Spradling, 69, of Harrisburg, died Monday, May 21, 2018, in Welch, Oklahoma.  She has lived in Northeast Arkansas most of her life.  She was a member of the Harmony Grove Assembly of God Church, which later became the Weiner Assembly of God Church.  She enjoyed writing poetry, baking and reading.  Hester has an entrepreneurial spirit about her and she created many businesses from the ground up.  Hester was a missionary/preacher with the United Faith Ministry.  Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family. She was an Elvis Presley fan of anything he did.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Spradling, her parents, and three siblings.

Survivors include her sons, Jerry H. Collier Jr. (Stacie) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Stephen W. Collier (Neva) of North Little Rock; Brian A. Reeves (Brandy) of Bahalia, Mississippi; Jonathan C. Spradling (Alexis) of Corning; Kevin Spradling (Tracey) of Atwater, California; daughters, Angela Swanner (Ronnie) of Harrisburg; Hope Redding (J.W.) of Caraway; Anita Spradling of Lamar, Arkansas; sister, Glenda Sue Stevens (Ralph) of Welch, Oklahoma; 31 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 27, 2018 at the Weiner Assembly of God Church in Weiner with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time.  Burial will be private.
