Hershel Junior Smith

Hershel Smith, 68 of Bono, died Friday. Born in Jonesboro, Hershel lived several years in California before moving to Bono in 1991. He was also a proud member of the VFW.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Hubert and Wilenia Smith, and one sister; Margaret Smith.

Hershel is survived by three sisters; Patsy Puckett of Bono, Diane Gargaro of Bono, and Carol Burdyshaw of Jonesboro, as well as one brother, Dwight Smith and his wife Connie of Heavener, OK.

Visitation will be on Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m., at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

Graveside services will follow at Trinity Cemetery in Bono at 11:00 a.m.
