Henry B. "Hank" Quinn

Henry B. “Hank” Quinn, 84, of Hot Springs formerly of Jonesboro passed away on April 19, 2016 at his residence.

Hank was born on December 4, 1931 in Waterbury, CT to the late Henry B. Sr. and Minnie Christopher Quinn. Hank went on to join the U..S Navy where he served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was awarded several medals while serving in the Navy; three Good Conduct Medals, Navy Occupation Service Medal (Korea), National Defense Service Medal, three Vietnam Service Medals, and three Vietnam Medals. Hank was retired as a Lieutenant Commander from the US Navy where he served his country for 24 years. While he lived in Jonesboro he was a member of the Elks Lodge and the VFW. After the military he worked for 10 years for the City of Jonesboro. He and his wife Carolyn moved from Jonesboro to Hot Springs 19 years ago.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Nan Katherine McCall Quinn; and daughter, Teresa Lynn Prichard Holliman.

He is survived by his wife loving wife of 19 years, Carolyn Quinn of Hot Springs; daughter, Kelly A. Quinn of Washington D.C.; sons, Henry B. “Skip” Quinn and wife Andrea R. Quinn of Memphis, Robert J. “Bobby” Quinn and wife Carey Lynn Quinn all of Decatur, GA, Kevin P. Quinn and wife Margaret A. Quinn of Little Rock, Mark Prichard, Doug Prichard both of Hot Springs, and Stevan Prichard and his wife Terri of Deer Park, TX; granddaughters; Meghan K. Arias, Erin C. Quinn, Mattie K. Quinn, Georgia M. Quinn, Caitlin A. Quinn, Heather Hogiland, Andera Prichard, Briah Bailey, Terren Davis, Courtney Hancock, and Bailey Prichard; grandsons; Kyle P. Quinn and wife Jessica M. Quinn, Brett M. Quinn; four great granddaughters; ten great grandsons; one brother, Jimmy Quinn; two sisters, Mary Bochicchio and Alice Telesco all of Waterbury, CT; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be 10a.m. Saturday morning at the Emerson Memorial Chapel with David Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Navy Honors and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7pm at Emerson Funeral Home.
