Henry “Hank” C. Hall, 88, of Jonesboro died Saturday, August 11, 2018, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. Born in Black Oak, Arkansas, he lived most of his life in Northeast Arkansas. He served his country in the US Air Force as an E9 Chief Master Sargent. for over 21 years, serving in the Korean and Viet Nam War. While in the military service he traveled all over the world. After retiring from the Air Force, he started his second career in the banking business with Citizen’s Bank. Hank loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Then, his great grandchildren came along and his heart found a new love beyond compare. Those whose lives were touched by Hank were truly blessed. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Valerie, his parents and one sister.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Shirley of the home; sons, Steve Despain (Carol); Scott Despain (Anita) all of Jonesboro; daughters, Jackie Brothers (Brad) of Stockton, Alabama; Cindy Toombs (Don) of Jonesboro; brothers, Jim Hall (Sharon) of Jonesboro; Neil Hall (Wilma) of Hernando, Mississippi; Danny Hall (Bonnie) of Lepanto; sisters, Edith Elliott of Illinois; Elizabeth Snowden of Missouri; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 3:00 Friday, August 17, 2018 at Emerson Funeral Home. All other services will be private. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
