Henry Eugene Craig

Henry Eugene Craig, 71 of Lorado, passed from this life Tuesday, January 2, 2017 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born in Texas City, Texas on June 29, 1945 to William Henry Craig and Lucy Mae Martin Craig. He was a member of the Lorado Baptist Church. He loved fishing and watching westerns. He especially enjoyed watching Matlock. Henry proudly served his country in the US Army. He is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 1 sister and stepdaughter, Cheryl Ward.

Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Donna Craig of the home; son, Marshall Craig of Huntsville, Texas; daughter, Madelyn Craig of Tomball, Texas; sister, Louise Kio of Lufkin, Texas; 13 step grandchildren, 30 step great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 9:00-10:00 AM at Emerson Memorial Chapel with the service starting at 10:00. Officiating will be Bryan Exum. Burial will follow at Lorado Cemetery. Marshall Craig, Michael Meridith, Dylan Poppleton, Greg Steen, Logan Poppleton and Shawn Dacus will serve as pallbearers.
