Henrietta Files, 84, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Monday, October 23, 2017 at her home.  She has lived in Jonesboro since 1971, moving here from Elaine, Arkansas.  She attended the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  Henrietta loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Files, her parents, three sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include her sons, Jim Files (Jan); Tony Files (Joyce); daughter, Lori Files, all of Jonesboro; sister, Jean Closs, Marshall, Michigan; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one special nephew, Mike Doshier and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 26, 2017, at Gibson Cemetery with Wynndel King officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Serving as pallbearers are Scott Files, Clint Massey, Bryan Files, Nathan Massey, Brent Files and Zach Massey.  Honorary pallbearers are Mark Campbell, Cody Files, and Dustin McBee.  Visitation will be Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00.
