Helen Louise Morrison

Helen Louise Morrison, 86, of Bay, passed away Tuesday May 26, 2009 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was a native and life-long resident of Bay. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bay United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Max Morrison, her parents Grover Cleveland and Bessie Elizabeth Sneed Armstrong, one granddaughter Mary Elizabeth Gammill, one brother John W. Armstrong and one sister Patsy Ruth Holderfield. She is survived by two sons, Danny Morrison of Bay and David Morrison and wife Jan of Omaha, Nebraska. One daughter, Terri Craft and husband Darrell of Weiner, Arkansas. One sister, Judy Cole of Paragould, Arkansas. Seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday May 30, 2009 at Emerson Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Angie Gage officiating. Burial will be at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery, with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge. Active pallbearers will be John Morrison, Hayden Morrison, Patrick Morrison, Andrew Morrison, Jac Cole. Honorary pallbearers will be John Armstrong, Larry Holderfield, Keith Holderfield, Doctor Roosevelt Gilliam and Ronald Craft. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Friday May 29, 2009 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
