Martha Helen Latham Francis Glasgow, 75, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at St. Bernards Medical Center.
Born in Pocahontas, Helen lived in Trumann before moving to Jonesboro in 1967. She worked many years in the restaurant business but the last several years she worked for Western Sizzler in Jonesboro. She was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Golden; second husband, Leon Francis; third husband, Bruce Glasgow; son, David Francis; and sister, Debbie Latham.
Survivors include one daughter, Rehlinda Higgins of Gulf Breeze, Florida;
1 sister, Peggy Paden of Jonesboro;
5 brothers: Joseph Latham of Imboden, Alex Latham and Herman Latham, both of Portia, Johnny Mac Latham of Beech Grove and Paul Latham of Jonesboro.
5 grandchildren: Brad Hinton, Dax Higgins, Emily Higgins, Mickey Francis and Laura Francis; and 1 great grandson, Beau Connell.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jerry Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers include Chris Graves, Nick Nelson, Ashton Nelson, and Paul Wise. Honorary pallbearers include members of her Sunday school class at Walnut Street.
Visitation will be held Friday evening, 5-7, at Emerson Funeral Home.
