Helen Marie Hunter, 75, of Jonesboro, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018, at her home.
Born in Lake City, Helen lived most of her life in Jonesboro. She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, coloring, and watching her television programs particularly Nick at Night, The Waltons, Little House On The Prairie, The Andy Griffith Show and any movie starring John Wayne.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents: O'Neal and Virginia Ballew Henry; husband, Bobby Hunter, daughter Brenda Hazelwood; son Bobby O'Neal Hunter; and brother Gene Foust.
Survivors include 2 daughters and son-in-law: Judy and Larry Lock, and Linda Hunter all of Jonesboro;
3 sons: Andrew Hunter, Donald Henry and Tommy Hunter all of Jonesboro;
2 sisters: Debbie Henry of South Carolina and Patricia Henry of Lousiana;
10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great, great granddaughter.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Emerson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Ronda Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.
Active pallbearers include Judy Lock, Linda Hunter, Steven Lock, Larry Hunter, Brandon Lock, Matthew Hunter, Richard Ivy and Ray Bruner. Larry Lock and Troy Foust are honorary pallbearers.
