Helen Jeannette Foster

Helen Jeannette Grimes Foster, 80, of Brookland, passed from this life on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at St. Bernards in Jonesboro.

Born June 6, 1941, in Dixie to Conley and Luvetta Fowler Grimes, she was retired from Arkansas State University, where she spent 43 years working in the records department. She was loved by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Foster, and a stepdaughter, Sandy Keller.

Survivors include a brother, James Grimes, and sister, Peggy Hunt, both of Brookland; two stepsons, Gene Foster and Gary Foster, both of Brookland; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews and many other friends and relatives.

Graveside service will be May 3, at 2 p.m. at Pine Log Cemetery at Brookland with Bro. Chris Kjorlaug officiating.
