Helen Cambron, 65, of Jonesboro passed from this life Sunday, March 30, 2014. She was born to the late Willis and Ruby Griffin April 26, 1948 here in Jonesboro. She spent the majority of her life residing here in Jonesboro. Helen was of the Baptist belief and was a member of the Liberty Community Church of Bowman, Ar. Helen loved and cared for everyone as her own. She was such a giving person and loved to help anyone that she could. Helen was known by many people as “mom” or “E-maw”. She loved children, arts and crafts, spending time with grandkids, and great grandkids. Helen will be missed by many friends and loved ones.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, one sister: Shirley Griese ; one grandson: Michael Lee Combs; one great grandson: Layne Ryder Hice.
Helen is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Marlon Cambron of the home, three daughters: Wendy (Jessie) Warren of Jonesboro, Cendy (Ron) Johnson of Jonesboro, and Mendy (Steve) Thomas of Monette; three sons: James Cambron of Lake City, Cody Cambron (Micha) of Jonesboro, and Dakota Cambron of the home; one sister: June Wheeler (Tommy) of Bono; three brothers: Johnny ( Joan) Griffin of Jonesboro, Jack (Sandi) Griffin of Bay, and Tim Griffin of Jonesboro; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Services will be 2pm Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Emerson Funeral Home with Pastor Roma Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Nettleton Cemetery with pallbearers being Jessie Warren, Ron Johnson, Steve Thomas, Derek Warren, Branden Combs, and Thomas Wheeler.
Visitation will be from 5pm to 8pm Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Emerson Funeral Home.
