Hazel Rosenbaum, 94, of Jonesboro passed from this life on January 12, 2018 at St. Bernards Medical Center with her family by her side.
Hazel was born in Lilburn, Missouri on March 30, 1923 to the late Francis Marion and Martha Cloin. She lived most of her life in the Jonesboro area. She was a loving mother that loved to cook, work in her flower beds and vegetable garden. She was an ordained minster with the Pentecostal church, and she loved spreading the word of God, and later on in life she attended the Baptist church with her children. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonzo Rosenbaum Sr., daughter, Crystal Rosenbaum, daughter-in-law, Shirley Rosenbaum; grandson, Ronnie Rosenbaum; five brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by her two sons, Lonzo “Lonnie” Rosenbaum Jr. of Jonesboro and Terry (Deborah) Rosenbaum of Rochelle, IL; two daughters, Sandra (Ronnie) Cliff of Jonesboro, and Linda Hall of Jonesboro; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Jim Morgan officiating. Interment will take place at Old Enterprise Cemetery with Emerson Funeral home in charge of all arrangements.
Visitation will take place one hour prior to service time in the Emerson Memorial Chapel.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Mark, Dylan, Shannon Simino, Shannon Ray, Tim Jones, Cody Wilkey, and honorary pallbearer is Larry Wayne Ritchie.
