Haydon Jeter Hall

September 20, 2000 — December 6, 2013

Haydon Jeter Hall, 13, of the Needham community, died Friday morning of natural causes at St. Bernards Medical Center. Haydon was born in Jonesboro and lived all of his life in this area. He was a 7th grader in all Pre-AP classes at Nettleton Junior High School. He has been on the Merit Roll every year while in school.

Haydon was a member of Bay United Methodist Church and was an avid fan of the Memphis Grizzlies, Denver Broncos and St. Louis Cardinals. He enjoyed riding his 4 wheeler, Polaris Ranger, tractors and combines and visiting Zoos. Haydon loved history, researching historical facts and movies. His favorite book was the Guinness Book of World Records and his favorite movie was "Iron Man3." Haydon enjoyed watching movies and could spout out random facts about the year the movie was made. Old muscle cars and trucks were among his favorite things to talk about. Haydon was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy at age 6 and has been confined to a wheelchair since 2008. He never let that get him down, he was always a happy and positive. In 2010 Haydon was granted a Make A Wish to Washington D.C. He was always fascinated with Presidential facts, and has read multiple books on all presidents. Abraham Lincoln was his favorite president, Ford Theater was on the top of his list to see while in Washington D.C.

Survivors include his parents, Terry and Felicia Hanners Hall of the home;
1 brother, Hanner Joe Hall of the home;
Maternal grandparents: Joe and Sherry Hanners of Paragould;
Paternal grandparents: Russell and Nancy Hall of Needham;
His aunt and uncle: Jill and Kris Wolf of Jonesboro; and
2 cousins: Sydney Wolf and Dylan Wolf, both of Jonesboro.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Donald Lewert and Rev. Jim Markley officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park.

Pallbearers include: D.J. Penter, Dan Hosman, Ike Horner, David Gairhan, Brandy Scott and Blake Lamberson.

Visitation will be Monday from 12 noon until 2:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel.
