Harry Dale Worsley, 72 of Jonesboro died Tuesday, January 23, 2007, at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee and moved to Jonesboro in 1976 from Forrest City, Arkansas.
He was a member of Pleasant Grove Methodist Church and the director of the Fisher St. Methodist Church Food Bank. He was a 32 Degree Mason, and a worthy minister. He enjoyed teaching the Bible enjoyed traveling and was loved by the community. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Lorree Worsley, of the home; four sons, Reid Worsley, Jonesboro; Jon Worsley, Harrisburg, Arkansas; Chuck Worsley, Cotton Valley, Louisiana; and Ron Worsley Jonesboro. Also surviving are five daughters, Merita Flippo, Jonesboro; Beth Talle, Austin, Texas; Jeana Figura, Olatha, Kansas; Kim Thompson, Parsons, Kansas; Loretta Easley, Copperas Cove, Texas; one sister, Patricia Ann Worsley, Conway, Arkansas, 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 26, 2007 at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church with Dr. Charles Coleman officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Mike Nelson, Kerry Easley, Matt Bradsher, Micheal Peel, Chris Knicks, and Daniel Worsley. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Charles Coleman, Reid Worsley, Jon Worsley, Chuck Worsley and Ron Worsley. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 Thursday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
