Harriet Smith Yarbrough

Harriet Smith Yarbrough, 92, of Jonesboro, died Monday night, May 2, 2011 at Ridgecrest Nursing Center. She had lived in Jonesboro for the past 13 years, moving here from Mission, Texas and attended the First United Methodist Church of Jonesboro. She was an avid square dance and line dancer and loved her exercise class at the Earl Bell Senior Center. As an accomplished bowler, she was a member of the senior bowling league. Travelling in an RV was also a pastime and she was a member of the Coach’s Wives Club. Harriet was preceded in death by her husband, John Terrell Yarbrough and her parents.

Survivors are her daughter, Terri Y. Green and husband James A. Green of Paragould and granddaughter Jamie Teresa Green and step grandchildren Jessica Green and Jerron Green. A private memorial service will be at a later date. Honorary pallbearers are James Green and Jerron Green.
