Harold Eddie Minton

Harold “Eddie” Minton, Jr 63 of Bono, passed from this life Sunday, September 15, 2019 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.  He was born May 20, 1956 to Harold and Lawanda Wood Minton in Jonesboro.  He had spent most of his life in this area and he was of the Baptist belief.  Eddie retired from Riceland Foods.    Eddie enjoyed fishing, race cars, football and good food.  He is preceded in death by his father, sister and son, Tony.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Susan of the home; 2 daughters, Tammy (Alan) Minton and Paula Broadway all of Bono; his mother, Lawanda Minton of Bono and his sister, Brenda (Larry) Gibson of Bono; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Emerson Memorial Chapel from 10-12, with the service starting at 12 noon.  Craig Lee will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Old Enterprise Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Alan Minton, Craig Lee, Sammy Lee, Scott Aycock, Sammy Lewis and Jason Crabtree.
