Harold Lee Fisher

Harold Lee Fisher of Jonesboro went home to be with our Lord on February 19, 2007 in Sun City Florida.

Mr. Fisher was the owner and operator of Fisher’s Moving & Storage with facilities in both Blytheville and Jonesboro – a company he established in 1955 and sold in 1975.

As a World War II veteran, Mr. Fisher proudly served our country as a member of the US Navy. In 1969, he made his commitment to Christ and became a member of Nettleton Baptist Church.

On December 28, 1946, Mr. Fisher made his commitment of marriage to Johnnie Ruth Beckham – with whom he recently celebrated 60 years of their life together.

Mr. fisher is survived by Johnnie; his daughter, Peggy Jean Neal-Gentile of Apollo Beach, Florida; his grandchildren Samantha Neal of Singapore, Amanda Neal of Boston, Massachusetts, Michael Neal of Lakeland, Florida; his great grandchildren Jade, Bobby and Brooke of Lakeland, Florida; his brothers Darrell Fisher of Germantown, Tennessee, W. E. Fisher of Walnut Ridge, Bobby Gerald Fisher of Smithville and Freddy Fisher of Newport.

Service will be held at Emerson Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro and will be conducted by Dr. Stan Ballard and Reverend Harold Ray. Pallbearers will be Harold’s nephews; Dempsey Fisher and Michael Fisher of Germantown, Tennessee, Keith Fisher and Joe Fisher of Walnut Ridge and David Fisher of Jonesboro. Joining the nephews as pallbearers will be John Beadles of Jonesboro, a longtime family friend.

Visitation will be from 5 – 7 P.M. Friday, February 23, 2007 at Emerson Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life service will be held at Emerson Memorial Chapel on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be private.
